Dried Biomass Hopper

This type of hopper is used to store biomass that has been dried. Biomass will absorb moisture if exposed to it, which can result in a loss of energy. This type of hopper is enclosed and are generally a funnel shape to discourage fuel build up on the walls. Smaller particles continue through the hopper while larger particles stuck to the sides of the hopper creating a "rat hole" affect and prevent the hopper from completely emptying.
